Career Expo Gear Up
January 25th, 2009MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!
4:45 PM. Fishtank Room. Career expo extravaganza with John Luther. What are we talking about? John will be going over what to expect, what to bring, what to wear, etcetera.
So bring yourself, bring a friend; this is going to be a rather large meeting with AIGA, IDSA, and the rest of the general A&D non-designers attending.
Deadlines
November 12th, 2008We will be sending off our designs to Moosejaw on November 24th, two weeks from last we met, for feedback. And we will send them our FINAL final designs at the end of the semester.
11/10/08
November 9th, 2008At Mondays meeting we’ll be deciding on who we’ll nominate for the ‘09-’10 Penny Stamps Lecture Series. We’ll also be setting a deadline as a group for the Moosejaw designs for when we will collect them and send them in together. This will be a short meeting.
Music Visualizer
November 3rd, 2008As some of you may know, I’m working on music visualization for my senior IP project. And recently I came across this rather unique way of visualizing music. It’s a bit masochistic, but hey, it’s damn interesting at the same time.
Meeting 11/03/08
November 2nd, 2008Speaker: Carl Greene
We’ll be continuing with our Moosejaw project at Monday’s meeting. Another round of show and tell can be expected, much like last week. We’ll bounce ideas off each other and give some helpful criticism so we all have pretty solid final pieces to send off soon.
Meeting 10/27/08
October 26th, 2008Another Monday, another meeting.
Tomorrow we meet at our regular time, 4:45pm in our regular space, the Fishtank Room. Tomorrow’s meeting will involve sharing our ideas and (hopefully) sketches for the Moosejaw project with the group or, as mentioned before, receiving epic floggings. So if you still haven’t done any sketches, you still have t-minus 21-ish hours to do a few, however rough and conceptual you wish.
After sharing our ideas we’ll split into a few groups to further flesh out the collective ideas of the group. So please, come to the meeting with whatever it is you work well with, pen, pencil, paper, laptop, etcetera.
I’m pretty excited about this project and just remember, this could be a GREAT project to have in your portfolio!
